In her book, Heidi Klum Body of Knowledge, she give us tips on how to take great pictures, and here are some of them:
1. Don't over do it.
2. Smiling "inside" creates intrigue. Usually you show your teeth when you smile, but if you keep your lips closed, let the corners of your mouth turn up a bit (think of the Mona Lisa), and imagine your eyes glistening, you give off a mischievous, alluring vibe.
3. Turning your shoulder slightly, rather than squarely facing
someone, can be flirtatious- not to mention physically flattering.
4. Arch your back and keep your shoulders back and your head up to look confident (this can even make your boobs look bigger).
5. Sleepy "bedroom" eyes - relaxed lids and a softened stare - are sexy.
6. Keeping your mouth closed (you are breathing through your nose obviously) helps you look relaxed and poised.
7. A slightly open mouth can be inviting, sexy solicitation - but make it like you're going to eat a blueberry, not a cherry.

. . .took a simple test to see which side of my brain is used when I make decisions. According to brain research, a person who is left brain dominant suffers from limited approaches and narrow-mindedness, while the person who is right brain dominant suffers from too many approaches and is scatterbrained. This test is supposed to help me understand my unique personality.
After answering the questions, it appears that I am Left Brain dominant. Check out my results, and read what each side of the brain actually controls.
Take the test yourself, and learn more about yourself.
Left brain dominant individuals are more orderly, literal, articulate, and
to the point. They are good at understanding directions and anything
that is explicit and logical. They can have trouble comprehending
emotions and abstract concepts, they can feel lost when things are not
clear, doubting anything that is not stated and proven. Right
brain dominant individuals are more visual and intuitive. They are
better at summarizing multiple points, picking up on what's not said,
visualizing things, and making things up. They can lack attention to
detail, directness, organization, and the ability to explain their
ideas verbally, leaving them unable to communicate effectively.
Are You Right or Left Brained?Right Brain (36%) The right hemisphere is the visual, figurative, artistic, and intuitive side of the brain.
Left Brain (46%) The left hemisphere is the logical, articulate, assertive, and practical side of the brain

. . .URTAK, a public opinion poll, which asks you to read a question, and answer with a simple YES, NO, or DON'T CARE. Right after you enter your response, you can see how others felt about the same question.
Created by recent Harvard grads Marc Lizoain and Aaron Gibralter, the site even asks you to come up with questions that become part of the survey. There are 14,734 questions on the site, and more are added daily. So far there are 1,030,574 responses.
QUESTIONS and RESPONSES:
1. Is life hard? 91% answered yes (My answer: HELL YES!)
2. Could you kill someone? 57% answered yes (My answer: HELL NO!)
3. If you found a million dollars in a bag on the street, would you try to find out who it belonged to? 55% answered yes (My answer: DO I LOOK STUPID?)
4. Have you ever thrown up in the street? 63% answered yes (My answer: NEVER!)
It only takes a few minutes before you become addicted. Try it, and see if you agree with me.

. . .In the past few years I have learned a very valuable life lesson. . .to take good care of myself. It's important to be good to myself, otherwise I won't be happy. Waiting for someone to be good to me is a waste of time. And for that reason, I decided to visit New York, and be with my two kids for Mother's Day. A weekend away from everything is very therapeutic. Recently my days have been filled with lots of stress, so getting away and enjoying myself was almost a necessity.
I love New York, and now that Brandon lives here, it made sense to take a break and enjoy the town, especially because it's spring in New York. Andrea took the train from Washington, D.C., and all of us spent some quality time enjoying each others company. Brandon will be moving next month to the East Village, into a loft with three roommates, and I wanted to see his penthouse apartment on 28th and Madison Avenue, where he has lived for the past year. What a nice way to live for a 25-year- old young man. He's living a dream life, and I'm so envious.
Living in Manhattan for a few years is a great adventure, especially when you are young and carefree. Eventually he will return to San Diego, but for now, Brandon is living a totally different kind of life than the laid-back life of a Southern Californian. It's expensive to live in Manhattan, the weather is either too hot or too cold, always the hint of humidity, the noise is constant with ambulance and emergency vehicle sirens deafening to the ears, taxi cabs driving in all directions, and people walking the streets day and night, but the experience of living in one of the great cities in the world is an experience to be cherished.
I can't imagine living anywhere else but San Diego, but nothing beats a $22.95 Club Sandwich at Carnegie Deli. Oh, to be young again.

. . .This is a picture from an article called "The Rescuing Hug." The article details the first week of life of a set of twins. Apparently, each were in their respective incubators, and one was not expected to live. A hospital nurse fought against the hospital rules and placed the babies in one incubator. When they were placed together, the healthier of the two threw an arm over her sister in an endearing embrace. The smaller baby's heart rate stabilized and her temperature rose to normal.
